South Allington House, in the hamlet of Chivelstone, is a Grade II Georgian manor house, set in four acres of beautiful grounds, between Start Point and Prawle Point, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty.
For those guests wanting the freedom of self-catering, The Laurels and Coachman’s Lodge are within the grounds of the main house, and offer comfort and modern facilities that make them a home from home.

Turn off the A38 for Buckfastleigh, Totnes and Kingsbridge, and follow signs for Kingsbridge, and follow signs for Kingsbridge.
In Kingsbridge take the A379 main Dartmouth road.
Having passed through Frogmore turn right over the bridge signposted East Prawle.
Follow signs for East Prawle as far as Chivelstone Cross, turn left and we are ½ mile on the right.
There is ample parking and you are free to use the grounds, including croquet, tennis court and coarse fishing.
